This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • Website refers to BioSyn Time & Attendance, accessible from http://biosyn.online

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

In-App Agreement

When logging in for the first time, you will be required to agree to the following terms and conditions:

Terms & Conditions and your Privacy

The BioSyn App will only require you to provide login details in the form of your employee code, ID number, work e-mail address and/or employer provided PIN. BioSyn does not gather any personal information other than those used for login purposes, which are verified against the database of your employer.

When clocking IN or OUT in single user mode, your GPS coordinates will be sent along with your IN or OUT clock entry. This will be recorded with your clock IN and clock OUT time for use by your employer only.

The above is only applicable if your employer activated capturing of GPS locations, in which case you will be required to allow the app to capture your GPS coordinates.

When clocking IN or OUT in supervisor mode, both your GPS coordinates and a photo of yourself will be uploaded to the online system for use by your employer. Your photo is used to confirm that you are the actual employee clocking on your employee number.

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy, and any collected images and data will be used solely for the intended purpose and will not be shared with any third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information includes:

  • Employee Number

    You will be required to provide either your employee number or e-mail address to log in.

  • Email address

    You will be required to provide either your employee number or e-mail address to log in.

  • Phone number

    You will be required to enter your phone number if your employeer activated the option "Only one employee per device".

  • Photo (image)

    If your employer utilizes the Supervisor clocking method, you will be required to take a photograph upon clocking in for your shift or clocking out. Your photo will be recorded alongside your clock-in or clock-out entry for the purpose of attendance tracking and verification.

  • Identification Number

    Your identification number can alternatively be entered as a password (alternative than from the PIN provided by your employer).

  • GPS Location

    BioSyn collects location data when you clock IN or OUT for work as per agreement with your employer. Your GPS coordinates will be recorded to your clock IN or clock OUT entry.

How is your data collected?

Your data is registered to the system by your current employer. BioSyn does not, and will not obtain

Usage Data

Usage of your data is limited to the use by your employer and data access is further limited based on user access control and rights within the system as set by your employer.

Verification Of Data

Any data provided in our APP is verified against the HR database of the company you are employed at. BioSyn does not collect any information that is not already obtained by your employer.

You can not access the BioSyn Mobile Application without being registered in the database of your employer.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service. The technologies We use may include:
